Trauma Evaluation and Management (TEAM™) – A management Primer for Multidisciplinary Trauma TEAM Members

The TEAM course offered by the ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥n College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) is an introductory course for medical providers with limited experience or knowledge that focuses on the initial management of trauma patients. 

• The fundamental principles of trauma care included in this course
• Rapid, accurate and physiologic assessment of a patient’s condition.
• Resuscitation, stabilization, and monitoring of a patient (according to priority)
• Preparation for a patients’ interhospital transfer (if a patient’s needs exceed the treating facility’s capabilities
• Introduction to injury prevention strategies.
